Rebooting other stuff

There are also a number of CPU's running EPICS and other controls software. If controls for High Voltage or Magnets are not functioning, they may need to be rebooted. Table 2.27 gives the location and function of several CPU reboot buttons not already listed in Table 2.26. Many of these resets are accessed by running the application rebootpanel from an X-session logged in to cdaqs1 (user cdaq).

\dagIf you reboot VMEC10 (iochc10) you must then RESTORE the Moller cryo saved parameters. Use the popup menu given by the small blue box on the bottom center of the Møller cryo overview page. Do a "iochc10:NORMAL RESTORE" and keep hitting ENTER when the popup dialog screen prompts you.
* May also be reset from MCC using a software reset.
** This reset generates an FSD! Contact MCC first.
*** Do not reboot vmec11 (iochc11) unless requested by MCC.

A reset switch has been moved up to the counting house for the HMS carriage rotation. One should use this button if the rotation GUI shows interlocks. If the interlock is real, then the reset button will not clear the interlock. One needs to press and hold the button for at least 1 to 2 seconds to clear the Sumito motor controllers. The reset button is located next to the rotation kill button, on the left section of the counting room console.
