With the additional Cherenkov ADC cut, 0.5 to 1.5 electrons, there asymmetry appears to always increase showing that this cut is removing many background events. See green points
Looking at the asymmetries from mark, the asymmetries with an energy cut of 1300 MeV are larger than those with a lower energy cut.
Perhaps the higher energy cut is less diluted due to the energy dependence of the background and thus higher?
