keyword=Time Diff between PlanesThe following plot shows the six combinations possible for a time difference calculation between scintillator planes. The three plots on the top and bottom depict the combinations:
T12 = S1X - S1Y, T13 = S1X - S2X, T14 = S1X - S2Y
T23 = S1Y - S2X, T24 = S1Y - S2Y, T34 = S2X - S2Y
The decrease in resolution due to the shoulder which is present in any of the combinations involving S2Y indicates a possible problem in the timing in that plane.
