keyword=Time Diff between planes (excluding S2Y05-)The following plot shows the six combinations possible for a time difference calculation between scintillator planes after S2Y05- is excluded. The three plots on the top and bottom depict the combinations:
T12 = S1X - S1Y, T13 = S1X - S2X, T14 = S1X - S2Y
T23 = S1Y - S2X, T24 = S1Y - S2Y, T34 = S2X - S2Y
Comparing these time differences to entry #424 (Fig 2) shows that the resolution in T14, T24 and T34, which involve the time difference between S2Y and the remaining three planes, has improved. The resolution is however still larger by 100ps relative to the time differences calculated from the remaining scintillator plane combinations.
It should be noted that the small shoulder that was present in all time differences involving S2Y on the positive side of the peak has disappeared.
