    keyword=SOS saturation correction

    I have looked for the SOS P0 dependence of delta vs ssxpfp^2. I took elastic 1H(e,e'p) and pion production data from the Fpi experiment (fig. 1) and fit it with a 3rd order polynomial (fig. 2). Below an excitation of 1 GeV/c I assume the correction factor to be constant. The correction on the particle momentum with this correction factor is:
    p=p0sos * (1+ (delta+corrfac)/100)

    Due to problems with their HMS optics, I could not yet include data from the NucPi experiment at Psos=0.29 GeV/c and 1.0 and 1.1 GeV/c, which would help extend the data base to low P0 and to fill in the gaps in our data set.

    I will create two new subroutines for replay to take into account saturation effects in HMS and SOS: h_satcorr and s_satcorr. I will leave h_satcorr empty for now and enter my parametrisation for the delta vs ssxpfp correction into s_satcorr. Future (and past) experiments should make their own surveys, since these corrections are tune dependent.
