keyword=SIMC SOS ytar acceptance problemFig. 1 shows that SIMC cuts off ssyptar too early. This is our run with the biggest SOs angle (56.5 degrees), and the optics model shows its limits. As a better example Fig. 2 shows run 16840 (where SOS is at 36.5 degrees). A second problem with run 17170 is that I wasn't able to find a reasonable set of offsets to get hsytar to match. All the other runs behaved better. The complete set of distribution comparisons is (at this moment) to be found in /work/hallc/e93021/volmer/Heep/heep_distr.ps.
