keyword=Octagonal Coll. Cut on SOS using Replay_4 data
The figures below show the SOS collimator using SIMC and Replay_4 data. There are no offsets on any data, and the only cuts are the standard SOS delta and missing mass cuts and a new octagonal cut on the collimator. Parallel kinematics are only shown here. The inner solid octagon represents the entrance of the collimator while the outer solid octagon represents the exit of the collimator. The dashed octagon highlights the collimator cut.
Not much can be said here. Both the replay and SIMC data are well centered in and covers the collimator for both high and low epsilon settings. The cut seems to work fine. As far as these plots indicate we are properly modeling the SOS, though they definitely don't show all possible problems.
These would indicate that most of our problems are on the HMS side as we have already concluded.
