In 2005, the second generation hypernuclei spectroscopy experiment, E01-011 was successfully performed. At that time, the High resolution Kaon Spectrometer (HKS) and tilt method were introduced for the first time.

The electron spectrometer, ENGE which was used for the first generation experiment E89-009 in 2000, but this time it was vertiaclly tilted to avoid Bremsstrahlung.

ENGE spectrometer was replaced by HES for the E05-115 experiment, but it might be used again as pion spectrometer for the future E08-112 experiment.
