ADC Pedestal Analysis

At the beginning of each run, the DAQ will take a number of events, typically 1000, that are randomly triggered by a pulser. These events should be uncorrelated with particles passing through the detectors. Thus, they should measure the ADC offsets (pedestals) that later need to get subtracted from the physics events.

The analysis flow is as follows:

g_reconstruction
  gen_event_type = 4 or 8
  g_analyze_pedestal
    g_analyze_beam_pedestal
    e_analyze_pedestal
    h_analyze_pedestal
