Raised the lumi HVs to increase the S/B ratio (by a factor of 2.5 or so):
lumi HV_normal HV_high 1 380 500 2 280 360 3 280 360 4 390 520 5 730 900 6 740 900
No need to resteer the beam on Al. Everything seemed to just work. The beam positions during the scan are (reasonable close to our norminal:
H00A H00C G0 G0B (-0.3,0.5) (-0.7,0.1) (-1.7,-1.8) (-1.0,1.4)
The lower lumis seemed to exhibit the shawdowing due to the LH2 target. The upper ones (lumi1 and lumi4) showed ~110ppm raw widths at 20uA and ~195ppm at 5uA, somewhat close to the counting statistics. More work is needed to correct for the beam noises. The feedback didn't quite work at the low current (Aq ~ 100 ppm), but hopefully we are not so sensitive at it.
Run lists:
20221 10uA 20222 15uA 20223 20uA 20224 5uA
Stored the highgain lumi to a file HV.lumi_highgain_on.hvc on
$EPG0HV/tk dir on cvxwrks@cdaqs1, in case we need to use it next time.
Restored the old misc HV file HV.2004-02-19.lumi_halo_on.hvc.
