I think a possible cause for the "Jeffylab" alarms when the beam goes off
is the "spikey" test on the French TED. The low statistics of background/green block
data can, I believe, simulate "spikes" in the French time encoding data - Jianglai
can confirm this, but I have seen this sort of behaviour while on shift.
