Today we finished fixing the CAEN HV system; as a result 9 cards and two
crates were replaced. Roman installed the software for the LeCroy HV
system, as well, and we were able to apply HV on all the 1744 channels
for the first time. Seven channels showed some kind of HV problems like
no current, high current, or no connection to the booster supply. Having
all the Protvino HV on, we had to adjust the reostats on the booster
supply so that there are stable 100V on the last four dinodes supplied by
the booster. As a result the current through the reostats increased and
the box in which they are mounted, got warmer than usual. We have to
install fan below it.
We finished wiring of the calorimeter trigger, as well.
