keyword=performance of FPP AND HMS DC has slightly deteriorated over past few days
I've noticed that the performance of both the HMS and FPP chambers has
deteriorated recently, not dramatically, but it is definitely noticeable.
Given the correlation of reductions in performance between the two sets
of chambers, it suggests a gas problem. I did the shift checklist, and as
far as I could tell the gas situation was okay. I also made sure that the
HMS trigger delay was restored to its nominal setting, so that it
couldn't be an issue of the timing in the analysis. This will require
further study. Maybe it has something to do with the refrigerator having
been left open for an undetermined amount of time? This problem is now
solved, but I wonder if we shouldn't increase the flow to get the
chambers better flushed.
