Because of the multiple target IOC reboots that were required earlier
this morning, Chris proposes to improve the shielding on the target IOC.
The target IOC is on the polarized target platform. So we called Eric Sun
to ask him whether the platform could support the weight of a green block
or not. If not, another way to go would be to stack small concrete blocks
up to the height of the IOC, maybe 2 or 3 feet, and then stack some Pb
bricks on top of that in front of the IOC. Eric will let us know which
way to go. If it's the Pb brick route, we will get some Pb trained people
to stack 10 bricks at a time.
