keyword=comments on back-to-the-way-they-supposedly-were MD pedestal widths

The 0.06 mV pedestal widths that John Leacock gets now on the DSLumis in https://hallcweb.jlab.org/hclog/1101_archive/110124160424.html are more consistent with the 0.06-0.12mV pedestal widths Buddhini found in the MD before startup: https://hallcweb.jlab.org/hclog/1006_archive/100613182704.html .

* The MD gain is x10 lower now so the pedestal width increase would be very difficult to explain by activation (and would produce slightly skewed gaussians which I don't see in John's plots anyway).

* Perhaps there really has been a small degradation in the preamp noise from irradiation.

* Or we may have acquired a small amount of electrical pickup, though I suspect the MD is more of a noise-donator than a noise-acceptor. My formerly neat cable run on top of the VME crate has been cut down to make a big pile (Manitoba garter snakes in the spring comes to mind), so it's possible our +-200mV of preamp noise was leaking into the DSLumis.

The extra pedestal noise seems to be small in all channels except MD4- (ye old special case?) and MD8-.
