MCC is getting ready for beam studies. They took beam away. So I moved the target to home position. When asked to mask the FSD to move target, MCC said we don't need to have FSD masked as we have no beam. But I thought it was something that needs to be done as a precaution anyway. It didn't feel right to move the target with the FSD readback showing red, but after talking with Steve I went ahead and did it.
The logical part of my head was saying its ok to do it and the part that had target training in it was telling me NO NO!
Note: This is my 3rd TO shift : )
