Beam came back just now (eventually!) but the background rates are 400 Hz/uA ! though the compton lock is ON at 0.82
the ph-detector has remained off since this evening and with this background It doesn't seem to be possible to turn it ON.
We think that we will not turn ON the HV on ph-det until the rate come atleast 140 Hz/uA.(comments?)
