    keyword=this afternoon's bcm calibration a bust

    I can't find any scaler data at all in bcm calibration runs 18167 and 18168. We can't normally replay such calibration runs in parallel with data-taking because the small amount of data is buffered and doesn't appear on disk until the file is closed. The only "feel-good" thing one can do is look at the scaler crate and verify that it is being read every 2 seconds (ie, the green lights flash). However, I wasn't in the counting room at the time. Some obscure run control problem? I asked SAW if he could look at the runs in question but since they are both very short and exactly the same length I am certain we are screwed.

    MCC elog 31772 to the contrary, Keith Baker said that he is going to ask that AES do the work necessary to get us to 50 microA and then do a bcm calibration according to the procedure in hclog 3778. I suggested he watch for flashing lights and not switch to "scalers only". I can analyze the data tomorrow.
