The electron detector is composed of four 2.1cmx2.1cm planes separated by 1cm  and staggered 100 µm with respect to each other. Each plane contains 96 horizontal diamond strips (polycrystalline CVD diamond). Each strip is 180 µm wide and they are separated by a 20 µm gap. Metalization was done on each plane with Titanium-Platinum-Gold (TiPtAu). The carrier boards are in Ceramic (alumina).

One edge of the detector is placed 0.5 cm from the primary beam and the location is 4inches in front of the 4th dipole.
