Laser

• Laser polarization update.
• Analysis is underway
  • The laser polarization calibration was done with the laser unlocked and the flipper out, BUT during normal data taking the laser unlocked periods usually had the flipper in. This makes it impossible to apply the simplest algorithm to determine the polarization.
  • The signal in the RRPD is dominated by ambient light on the table since the returned light of a polarization optimized cavity is so small.
  • The TPD and RPD are identically zero during unlocked (flipper in) running. This is potentially a loss of pedestal information.
