Planned Access to the Hall

Maintenance day today

Hall C is in Controlled access. We plan the following work in the Hall:

  • NPS crew (4/5 students today. Tasks include checking some noisy channels, replacing temperature sensors electronics, possibly replacing a few bases. Currently they are in sims hut checking channels.
  • Work needs to be completed by 3:30pm when the techs will return to move the calorimeter back to 4 m. Plan is to leave the hall by 4pm. Techs are unavailable between 2pm and 3:30pm.
  • Techs also doing property inventory.
  • Walk through with Dave G

Accelerator

Maintenance day today with option of beam studies in INJ (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4265990). Expect beam back for halls at ~21:00.

Run Plan

  • We are in KinC_x50_0a Production.
  • When beam returns this evening please proceed to KinC_x50_0a step 1.3, LD2 target, and the 5th (of sixteen) 30min runs with 15uA, ps4=0. Please screenshot the relevant CODA, trigger and NPS screens when production starts again.
