Current Status
- Good data taking overnight
- Q2=2.73, W=2.63, x=0.3114 low epsilon data taking - All done
- Minor issue with centre/left dummy runs
- FADC Mode 10 flag was still enabled
- Data should still be fine, Nathan reported that deadtimes still looked fine
- Low rate saved us here a bit
- Not worth going back to?
Current Run Plan
- Continue with physics data taking once we're back
- Just started on the Q2 = 3.85, W = 2.62, x = 0.3915 low epsilon SHMS left (10.00) LH2 setting
- Page 26 of the Run Plan
- We are currently a little behind my original estimate (~7 hours)
- Still scheduling SHMS rotation to 5.5 degrees for Monday (22/8)
- The Q2 = 1.60 left setting can just be re-arranged to be done after the central setting rather than before
- We will ask for beam off around 08:00 for a survey, rotation done ASAP after that
- Unless we are severely delayed over the weekend, this will remain the plan
- Tentatively scheduled BCM calibration for Tuesday (23/8)
Notices in Effect for Shift Crew
- If all SHMS magnets crash at the same time, push the SHMS dipole crash button (on the rack above the target heater manual controls and target temperature readbacks).
- For physics settings that come in quickly, please see - Analysis Note #1 Analysis Note #2
- Please see updated CoVID guidance for the weekend - Weekend CoVID Guidance
Current Issues
- Coffee maker broken! Emergency instant coffee in Counting House.
Planned Accesses to the Hall
- Nothing over the weekend, SHMS rotation to 5.50 on Monday (22/8) morning
Special Requests
- Fix coffee machine, or replace.
