Current Run Plan
The was no beam Wednesday Swing and Thursday Owl as the accelerator is still struggling with the BSY issues (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4188723 and https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4188555). We still need to finish the last elastic setting and then should go to production data taking. Before going to production, we need to move the NPS closer to the target, which requires an access and several hours of work. We planned to move the calorimeter today, but since the last elastic setting is still not completed and the accelerator seems to expect beam later today, it was decided to postpone the work until Friday Day shift.
The current run plan is to wait for the beam and to complete the last elastic setting until Friday morning.
There will be the RC meeting today at 11 a.m.
RC meeting minutes
- we plan to move NPS tomorrow during the Day shift.
- while no beam, we may want to take an LED run. Julie will let us know if the LED run is needed later today.
- we decided that after moving the NPS and going to production, we will need to take a pedestal measurement every day. This should be a short run (about 10 min) with beam on. We might need to change the CODA config for that (this should be coordinated with Alex).

On Friday Day shift we plan to move the NPS closer to the target, which will require several hours of work in the hall.
