- Shortly after (12/18) Owl shift started, there was another PSS failure and Hall C suddenly dropped to restricted access.
- The tech on-call wasn't able to restore the system.
- The expert arrived at 8AM and made hardware replacements.
- Hall C back to beam permit at 12:30 AM.
- All hardware related to communication interface in the hall has been replaced. Radiation damage is the suspect.
- Smooth running on Setting 2 of high x HMS 35 degrees until beam was taken away at 7am as scheduled.
- A bit more than half of Setting 2 is complete.
