Planned Access to the Hall

Work on NPS calorimeter on-going in Hall today. De-bug of channels.

A student needs a walk through.

Due to the refurbishment work over the weekend we can cancel the 4-day down we were planning for this coming Wednesday.

Accelerator

Current schedule: It's a bit in flux. Due to to the Lambertson valve issue this weekend they may decide to cancel the beam studies day on Wednesday. Although MCC would still like to perform the Mood test in Hall C before either the 21st or 22nd.

Run Plan

  • We will close the Hall towards the end of day shift.
  • We are currently planning to move NPS calo to 3m - do we still want to discuss? https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4268137
  • We will resume the KinC_x50_0 production taking when we start up again.
  • Do we want to do harp and c-hole first?
  • We stopped on the second cycle of the KinC_x50_0 short term run plan. We had switched to the LD2 running in the a setting. We completed 13 runs out of the KinC_x50_0a LD2 setting.
  • When we change spectrometer angles to move to the b setting we should ask MCC do the nps sweep and correctors tune procedure. If it is not possible, then we request that MCC post the beam spot on the dump viewer on the log book.

Requests for shift crew

  • Please be sure to make screen shots as prompted in the run plan, eg first run of each new target cycle snapshot NPS scalers/anode currents, trigger rates, CODA data rate/livetime/event rate, as prompted in the run plan and of anything else appropriate that happens on shift.
  • Please check your training and badge access in advance to arriving for your shift.

Shift schedule

We need SL for OWL Wed March 20 and Thur March 21.
