Summary

Wednesday (10/03) Day, Swing and OWL this morning shifts we were smoothly taking production data on LH2, LD2, and dummy (

Middle Swing we had Q1 trip when the NPS magnet was powered off before ramping to zero [1] The current plan is to continue running at the KinC_x50_2 production setting. We need to stay at this setting for the total of ~2 days of running.

Note the simplified table of the upstream and downstream corrector currents vs. SHMS angle uploaded by Dave Gaskell. The shift workers should be able to use this table to provide starting values for the corrector currents when MCC executes the NPS sweeper setup procedure at a new configuration.

Future plans

• We need to stay at KinC_x50_2 production setting for the total 3 days of running.
• Moller measurement.
• Access at end of week to install new "26 deg wings" on the Sweep Magnet.
