Current Status

• Hall is in restricted access
• Work is on-going in Hall yesterday, today and tomorrow. Please coordinate work plans with W. Kellner, and let the RC know.
• HGC work completed (B. Sawatzky, University Regina). Aerogel change completed (Vladimir et al). Roof beams on SHMS replaced.
• Brush installation attempt will be made and vacuum studies (W. Kellner)
• Accelerator division plan beam delivery testing Wed 11/28 swing shift and physics beam Thursday 11/29
• Lock up during day shift 11/28 - current plan is to have all work finished, all checkouts completed by 2pm
• Will get update if this schedule still stands tomorrow at MCC meeting

Current Run Plan

• CSV running finished for this year. From D. Gaskell, 56% of 2018-2019 scheduled time for E12-09-002 has been used and 60% of experiment is completed.

Notices in Effect for Shift Crew

• Please note the latest changes to shift schedule and stay tunes for any more updates.
• TO on for all shifts. SL cancelled until Wednesday 11/28 swing shift. SL for Wednesday 11/28 swing and Thursday 11/29 owl shifts are on standby. Please be ready to come to shift if required. Currently all shifts from Thursday 11/29 day are as originally planned.

Current Issues

• Coincidence time resolution issue appears to be caused by switched polarity of reference time signals. Will require to swap cables around and adjust software cuts etc.
• JT valve issue on loop 3 is solved. LD2 target is parked now. (D. Meekins)
• S. Lassiter, J. Segal currently working on drive controller issue and remote control for SHMS magnet power supplies.
• HMS dipole, currently S. Lassiter et al cannot get the HMS dipole to ramp up to 2000A without tripping. Up to 1800A should be ok. Since maximum p_HMS for Kaon LT before shut down at end of year is -4.371GeV/c. If higher p_HMS required during running early in 2019, this issue should be worked on during winter shut down.
• HMS angle camera was reset (B. Sawatzy)

Planned Accesses to the Hall

• We are in restricted access until 2pm tomorrow Wed 11/28. Coordinate any work with W. Kellner.

Planned Accelerator Configuration Changes

• Currently down for energy change to 1.86 GeV/pass and move to 500 MHz laser. Accelerator division beam studies on-going. Update on schedule will be given tomorrow morning.

Special Requests

• PD has been alerted that a super harp scan is required when beam is back. PD has also been alerted that an energy determination with arc measurement is needed (preferably Friday). PD will pass requests on to the next PD, who takes over tomorrow.
• PD was asked if J. Benesch requires to do a beam steering study after beam on. This will determine what angles we set spectrometers at during lock up.
• Since Hall A running is done, this RC daily meeting time could be moved earlier from 4:00pm on if it works better for participants' schedules
