Current Status

• SHMS paddle study complete
• 26 degrees, setting 9 complete
• 26 degrees, setting 1 in progress
• Coffee maker working!!! (thanks Paul)! https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4052331
• New alarm on EDTM rate (will alarm briefly at run start, then should go away if EDTM set correctly)

Current Run Plan

• Complete 26 degrees, setting 1
• Continue to settings 2, 3, etc.

Notices in Effect for Shift Crew

• Pay attention to DAQ prescale settings
• Update EDTM setting to give ~25 Hz AFTER prescale (see table near DAQ computers)
• Use good electron fraction from 50k replay to estimate how many events will be needed to get required statistics
• For settings with long runs/low rates, can run full replay (run_full_hms.sh and run_full_shms.sh)

Current Issues

• SHMS PRLO/PRHI thresholds might be a little on the high side (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4053287), but setting lower results in very high rates in PRLO
  • Maybe for SHMS, ELLO should have NO calorimeter at all (i.e., just 3/4 + Cherenkov)?
• SHMS NGC PMT1 HV set back to 1700 (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4052210) we'll need more elastic data to get efficiency
• Need to analyze SHMS paddle study ASAP to determine how we'll run 8 degree data
• cermode10 in the SHMS causes significant dead time (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4052716) - should we turn it off?
• Need shift workers for Tuesday, Day (then Thursday, Day)
