Current Status

  • 26 degrees, setting 1 complete
  • 26 degrees, setting 2 in progress
  • EDTM rate alarm disabled for now (Steve Wood will be doing some work)

Current Run Plan

  • Complete 26 degrees, setting 2
  • Continue to settings 3, 4, etc.

Notices in Effect for Shift Crew

  • cermode10 should be off for SHMS, on for HMS
  • Pay attention to DAQ prescale settings
  • Update EDTM setting to give ~25 Hz AFTER prescale (see table near DAQ computers)
  • Use good electron fraction from 50k replay to estimate how many events will be needed to get required statistics
  • For settings with long runs/low rates, can run full replay (run_full_hms.sh and run_full_shms.sh)

Current Issues

  • Need to analyze SHMS paddle study ASAP to determine how we'll run 8 degree data
  • Should make offline runlist including some analyzed quantities (efficiencies, number of electrons)
  • SHMS PRLO/PRHI thresholds might be a little on the high side (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4053287), but setting lower results in very high rates in PRLO
    • Maybe for SHMS, ELLO should have NO calorimeter at all (i.e., just 3/4 + Cherenkov)?

Planned Accesses to the Hall

  • None

Planned Accelerator Configuration Changes

  • Hall A pass change on Thursday
