- Finish remaining kinematic points
- Minimize risk:
- Finish full 6deg. dataset first to avoid rotation issues
- Next get partial dataset for last kinematic points
- Ensure we have Al Dummy for each setting by front-loading them at each kinematic change
- Aim to finish by Saturday, leaving buffer for contingencies or opportunistic revisiting of other kinematic points

Wednesday OWL
- Same setting and target as previous shift
- Setting: Q2=5.5, W=3.02, x=0.4, θSHMS=6.49
- Target: LH2
- Desired beam current: 45µA
- Do NOT run at higher beam current (will kill tracking efficiency)
- Ensure PS1 (SHMS-3-4) is giving pre-scaled rates close to 100Hz
- Ensure PS3 (HMS ELREAL) is giving pre-scaled rates close to 100Hz
- Ensure PS5 = 0 (This is the physics trigger!)
- Make a log entry if changing pre-scalers!
- Try to take 1 hour runs
Wednesday DAY
- Same setting and target as previous shift
- Setting: Q2=5.5, W=3.02, x=0.4, θSHMS=6.49
- Target: LH2
- Desired beam current: 45µA

- Ensure PS1 (SHMS-3-4) is giving pre-scaled rates close to 100Hz
- Ensure PS3 (HMS ELREAL) is giving pre-scaled rates close to 100Hz
- Ensure PS5 = 0 (This is the physics trigger!)
- Make a log entry when changing pre-scalers!
- Try to take 1 hour runs
- For BTA: Pro-rate against 70µA when running on LH2
Thursday DAY
- Change target to dummy
- Setting: Q2=5.5, W=3.02, x=0.4, θSHMS=9.56
- Target: 10cm Dummy
- Update standard.kinematics with the new settings
- Beam current: 40µA
- Ensure PS1 (SHMS-3-4) is giving pre-scaled rates close to 100Hz
- Ensure PS3 (HMS ELREAL) is giving pre-scaled rates close to 100Hz
- Ensure PS5 = 0 (This is the physics trigger!)
- Make a log entry when changing pre-scalers!
- Try to take 1.6-1.9 hours of good data in 2-3 runs (Good data means 100% efficiency)
- CHANGE SETTINGS AFTER 1/2 SHIFT
- Changing both target and SHMS rotation angle. Do simultaneously if possible to save time.
- NEW SETTING: Q2=5.5, W=3.02, x=0.4, θSHMS=12.56
- ROTATE SHMS to 12.56 deg (from TV)
- All other spectrometer settings stay the same
- TARGET stay the same: Al Dummy
- Update standard.kinematics with the new settings
- Beam current: 40µA
- Ensure PS1 (SHMS-3-4) is giving pre-scaled rates close to 100Hz
