  • Leak detector being used from HMS checkout is flakey

  • Asked when the Moller SC magnet will be replumbed. Depending on workload, will do this before July HMS cooldown.

  • G0 cable move continuing. Mounts for patch panels have been set in wall
  • Got a UPS for Hamlet/Aerogel

  • Design Projects:
    • Compton upgrade and Moller coils
    • Noble gas Cerenkov
    • Mod to lead glass stand for SHMS
    • SHMS dipole exit flange/spool
    • Assembly of SHMS Shield House Sliding door
    • ELIC concept layout
  • 12 GEV- SHMS:
    • SHMS Bogies delivered to Hall C last week
    • Spool/bearing and bearing housing moved to Hall C from ESB
    • Bids in for SHMS Structure assembly- eval underway- decision this week
    • Q1 Yoke stacking about half way done, contract with Stainless Metalcraft for Vessels
    • DC Power Supplies 3,4 &5 for Dipole, Q2 and Q3 tested and in shipping ETA Mid May
    • HB Helium vessel parts machining, design of LN2 shield and Vacuum vessel, HB yoke complete
    • Dipole Q2 & Q3 yoke steel machining about 80 % done
    • SHMS Dipole prototype coil winding
    • SHMS Dipole, conductor testing, all 6 pieces tested so far are acceptable for use, E layer and F layer, G layer still at JLAB
    • SHMS Dipole Full Design Review April 23/24
