  • Joe Beaufait:
    • spent last week flushing out SOS cables. SOS cables are going to be used in SHMS.
  • Walter Kellner:
    • Mike fowler's contractors bringing parts in.
    • Concrete cuters have starting this morning.
    • Hall C techs are taking out the SOS plate
  • Paul Brindza:
    • Boron carbide arrived last week.
    • Vaccum system parts are arriving too.
    • Magnet: Coil and collar FEA analysis redone and rechecked conductors for Sigma Phi.
    • Design: Mike is supporting installation, Paulo is working on the design for the Moller and Compton polarimeters, Steve F. is working on exit vacuum system.
    • Joe asked when the cryogenics will be available in the Hall. A leak in the water line of the CHL will delay the planned cool down by 6 to 8 weeks (was scheduled for March). This underground water line will be abandonned and replace by above-ground line. This will affect the testing of the five new HMS power supplies in inductive load: three PSU are going to be testing with the dipole and the other two PSU will be probably tested with Q1.
  • Charles Hightower:
    • Safety everything is good.
  • Steve Wood:
    • A new Hall C post-doc position will be posted in the next few days.
    • The agenda for the Hall C Users meeting has been updated.
  • Brad Sawatzky:
    • The cubes farms in the second floor of the counting house have to be moved out for the renovation. All connections/accessiblities to these machines will be certainly affected.
  • Dave Gaskell:
    • gave a summary talk on the Moller and Compton polarimeters upgrade (slides).
