Hall C Weekly Meeting - March 25, 2013

  • SHMS parts are being moved from the ESB to the hall
  • Work on C-can ongoing
  • Moping up water from leaks (near labyrinth/beam entrance)

  • Structure installation pre-bid meeting was held Monday, 18 March. 7 contractors attended.
  • SHMS Bogie delivery and Dipole Yoke steel pickup scheduled for Wednesday, 27 March.
  • Ongoing Design work:
    • Bert - SHMS Vacuum system, Sieves and GEM detector.
    • Dan - SHMS Cryo system & Barn Door
    • Gary - SHMS Swing door.
    • Paulo - Compton.
    • Steve F. - Calorimeter installation drawings.
    • Lassiter - SHMS Q1 contract & Hall B conductor soldering.
    • Eric - SHMS Dipole & Bender contracts, SHMS Cryo.

• Joe Beaufait
  • Counting room under construction.
    • New lights installed
    • Old HVAC is gone and building extension for new unit in place
    • Finish work to be done, but wall and floor penetrations are covered to keep out rain.
  • No Hall C isolation transformers found yet (for Hamlet/Aerogel)
  • G0 Patch panel move under way.
