  • From Andy Kenyon
    • SOS dipole out
    • This week put the SOS rail on to move SOS for removal of parts
    • Concrete removal continues
  • From Joe Beaufait:
    • I cleaned the submerged boards on both Danfysic supplies. Testing showed both came up with faults cleared. Both supplies acted as if they were disconnected with voltage coming up but no current. The system 8000 is disconnected and I will test with a jumper. The system 8500, (Compton supply) looks like it is still connected I will take measurements to see if it is still connected and determine whether or not we have a contactor that is not coming in.
    • Andy got me a bottle and regulator to start the cable flush. I will begin as soon as I finish working on the supplies.
    • I have an appointment with Barry Shinault tomorrow to look at the HMS hoffman duct reroute. (Made it this morning. He will get back to me with availability.)
    • The designers determined that it would be better to use pipe for the SHMS calorimeter cabling . I did the fill calculations to determine number and size of conduit.
    • This week I may be called on to help move the SOS to facilitate removal.
    • I was asked to contact Kelly Mahoney to facilitate repair of flood damage to the PSS in Hall C.
