  • The stingers are being welded to the Anaconda
  • SHMS magnet stands being moved this week to the hall.
  • Walter will confirm with survey group on plan to survey locations of magnet stands.
  • The SHMS utubes have been moved to the ESB
  • No one has contacted Andy or Walter about beamline work yet

  • Funds have been release to paint the counting house console.
  • For the G0 cable move, the HV cables are back in the rack
  • 30 signal cables are in the top tray
• Eric Sun
  • Paul Brindza is headed to England and France to visit the Q1 and Q2/Q3/D vendors
  • There will be a review of Eric's dipole Finite Element Analysis in mid November
  • Force calculations are being done by the vendor to evaluate the effect of placing iron near the magnet to redirect fringe fields.
  • Concrete is being poured this week to finish the shield hut walls

  • MSU is welding the HB Helium vessel

  • Building a mesh of the first 4 SHMS magnets in order to simulate fringe fields
