Current Status
- Jack, Ethan, Steve and Joe working on HMS Q2.
- Coincidence DAQ currently taking cosmics.
- Many angle changes last night, no need to reset rotation controller...also no radiator. Techs installed Pb bags near controller box: logbook post
- Summary of runs from last night:
1) x>1 optics study, Ep = -7.001, theta = 13.11 deg, normal tune: run 7170
2) x>1 optics study, Ep = -7.001, theta = 13.11 deg, F2 tune: run 7171
3) F2 yptar scan, Ep = -3.3 GeV, theta = 21 deg, normal tune: run 7172
4) F2 yptar scan, Ep = -3.3 GeV with theta = 19.85 deg, 21 deg, 22.15 deg, F2 tune: runs 7173@21deg, 7174@19.84deg, 7175@22.14deg
5) F2 positron run plan, 38 deg , Ep = +1.8 GeV: LH2 runs=7176, 7182; LD2 runs=7177, 7178, 7179; Al runs=7180, 7181
Current Run Plan
- x>1 (11/14 hours = 39% of experiment total)
- x>1 in 14 hours
- Detailed Instructions:
- Alternate:
- 2 hours on LD2, ps2=2 (keep rates below 5kHz), 30 uA
- 1 hour on 1.5%C, ps2=0 (keep rates below 5kHz), get high
- Take 1 dummy run, 1 hour (keep rates on ps2 below 5kHz)
- End runs every 30 minutes.
- Keep track of yields per target on each 50k replay using Eric's macro
- In /home/cdaq/hallc-online/hallc_replay/macros/ execute yield_xgt1.C
root -l .x yield_xgt1.C (runNum, 50000)
Notices in Effect for Shift Crew
- If rotation cannot be Reset, call the RC, then call Ops for an escorted/controlled access.
