To do list in preparation for running

• General

• • Hall lockup scheduled for today 4 pm

• • Beam steer up to the hall on Monday day with SHMS magnets OFF (procedures from Jay are posted under daily run plan for Monday March 6 and Tuesday owl); MCC will be done with this on Tuesday at 7 am. From Jay: "I don't see a need for Hall C counting house staffing until Tuesday day shift for spectrometer turn-on."

• • Target cool down and SHMS (and HMS) magnets ON on Tuesday during beam studies - Dave M. and Mike confirmed that controlled access is enough

• • He leak at the beam dump; from Keith Welch: a constant purge appeared to be effective at flushing the system of air as of last night; Keith was planning to monitor it overnight. If the system continues to be stable in this condition, and the exhaust flow continues to show that there is dry helium purge making through the system, then the beam dump is acceptable for beam. - needs update from Keith

• • Mag locks on the HMS hut door need to be wired - Joe/Chuck work on it DONE

• • Andy tells me that the status lights for the HMS shutter are not working - Chuck is fixing it DONE

• Target

• • The target scattering chamber alignment surveyed after the HMS is moved at 15 deg - DONE

• • Dave Meekins mentioned yesterday the possibility of a leak at the target scattering chamber need update

• Magnets: SHMS

• • Steve Lassiter is waiting for parts to install the second electronic flow meter for SHMS magnet; the parts should have arrived this morning but did not (will be here on Wednesday); does not hinder our running coming Tuesday

• • The Q3 power supply switch can be operated now but by magnet experts only

• • The aerogel slider thingy is sticking out in the HMS hut (has not been pushed back in after the detector removal); Chuck will take care of that - DONE
