[ HMS: 7,1-3(2+4)    SOS: 5,1-6(3+4) ]

Remove any offset in PRSUM and SHSUM. This can be done by setting the zero for each fan-in channel, or just rezeroing the final fan-ins that generate PRSUM and SHSUM.

[ HMS: 7,1-4(3to6)    SOS:5,1-7(5to7) ]

Set thresholds for PRHI, PRLO (preradiator energy, high and low thresholds), and SHLO(total energy cut). It will be necessary to take runs at several discriminator settings and look at the histograms to determine the correct threshold. SHLO should be set so that the SHSUM spectrum is cut off just above the pion peak ($\approx$ 250 MeV at P = 800 MeV). PRLO should be set so that PRSUM is cut off just above the pion peak ($\approx$ 60 MeV), and PRHI should be set so that it contains 90-95% of the PRSUM electron spectrum (minimum of $\approx$ 100 MeV). The histograms hprsum_prlo,hprsum_prhi, and hshsum_shlo show PRSUM and SHSUM with cuts based on the trigger signals PRLO,PRHI, and SHLO (you can use hthreshold.kumac to view all of them)
