    Here it is. Fig. 1 shows that the electronic dead times of HMS (blue) and SOS (red) have fine linear correlations with the ELREAL scalers. While ELREAL corresponds to the PRETRIGGER quite nicely for the SOS, it does so for the HMS only up to run 17140 or thereabouts. After that, I guess that hpre simply gives out much too high values, while ELREAL is ok. The evidence lies in the dead time (or live time). The question remains: why is that?
