keyword=el.LT revisited
Dave proposed to use the formula
el.LT = (2*EL60-EL120)/ELREAL
I did that survey and called the variable elltdjm. I discovered that I had to invert it in order to get a positive correlation with the old-fashioned el.LT hselt, which is calculated as 1-5/6*(EL60-EL120)/ELREAL. Fig. 1 shows both for HMS (blue) and SOS (red), and their ratios plotted vs run number. For the SOS, the difference is always smaller than 0.05%, while for the HMS the difference can be up to 0.8%. Here, the agreement is much better after run 17150. Why? And why did I have to invert elltdjm?
