keyword=water in the beamline alcove
I got called in because there is a significant amount of water on the
floor in the alcove (near the Moller). When I went into the hall, I did
not see any sign of leaking water hoses in the area, so my assumption is
that the water is ice-melt from when the Moller warmed up the other day.
Likely, we had some ice balls that melted during the ESR crash, and then
during the cool-down, the warm return almost certainly got icy and then
melted. However - if the amount of water on the floor increases, it may
be coming from another source, so it's worth checking on during the next
hall access.
