keyword=Beam status update

MCC phoned to say that they found a "stable spot in the vacuum". The beam should be more stable now, but they can only give us 25uA. They then asked us to "put the target in the beam and take data". (!) The target has been in the beam all along, but MCC claims that they can't see this.

I stopped Run 68070 and started Run 68071 with the new beam conditions. Indeed, rather than 40uA with only <50% uptime, we do seem to have 25uA with better uptime, so we might be marginally better off (at least for now).
