    • SMI, the vendor building the SHMS Q1 magnet suffered a theft of steel lamination plates (in England). It's still missing, but a company has been found with the right steel in stock to be cut & delivered in early January. So only a 2 week delay is expected after the dust settles.
  • Msc.
    • The hall and the counting room building are construction zones. That means all kinds of onerous training is required to access these areas, too much for the casual visit. WK is proposing to set up a roped off and clearly marked construction area in the hall and confine it to where work is actually taking place. This would mean we could access the other areas in the hall without having to go through all the requirements and training for a formal construction area.
    • Greg will probably get the Qweak target cell moved to the ESB for thickness measurements, in consultation with radcon.
    • Need to move the target tripod out of the hall as well.
  • Steve Wood
    • Steve will send an ad that has been created for a new Hall C post-doc to Janet this week.
    • The confirmed talks for the January Hall C meeting will be posted this week.
    • Still looking for speaker suggestions.
    • Tell Erica if you need to be here over the Xmas break.
