Minutes Hall C Meeting 2/11/2013

  • Walter Kellner
    • Finishing last cut on the SOS platform
    • Problem with the X cut on SOS platform. Metal attached below platform needs to be removed.
    • Lockwood still on schedule for Feb 18th removal of SOS.
    • Cryolines to C-can are down. Will get together with Fowler to decide what to keep and were to store.
    • G0-cable rack will be moved this week.
    • Water leak into hall still has not been fixed.
  • Mike Fowler
    • Rails mounted to the bare plates
    • Grout preparation proceeding
    • Surveyors on Thurs
    • Grout contractor arriving end of week. Arranged with Walter about from place in hall to heat the grout.
  • Joe Beaufait
    • Hoffmann duct is down. Installation of the new duct has started.
    • Flushing cables but need to have his own dewar to speed up the process.
    • Look through the proposed new policy for bypassing interlocks that accelarator division has adopted. Joe says that it looks good except that the logbook should be kept local to the hall. Patrizia Rossi said that the feedback in the other halls was similarly positive and that she was going to have a meeting with the accelerator people and representatives of the halls to discuss implementation.
