I have stepped the JT valve closed to get the HPH power down to about 145 W to "park" the target while waiting for beam. The current JT reading is 16.77%, and I have tried a couple of times to step down further, but the changes don't appear to take effect and the cryo flow stays about the same. Maybe I ran up against some hard limit I'm not aware of. Anyway, I'm not going to mess with it anymore, and 150 W is still better than 400 W during the long wait for the beam. The cryo flow is about 8.6 g/s at this JT setting.
