After much discussion and consultation (Steve Wood, Arn Fryberger, Greg
Smith, Walter Kellner, ...) it was determined to take the prudent course
and not return beam to the hall. Further investigations of the downstream
beam vacuum problem can be made tomorrow - possibly adding another pump
to the beam line.
Waiting overnight will allow the radiation levels to subside, thus making
it possible to undertake a remediation.
Target operator should come in.
Dipole will be left on.
