Just as a bit of info on Kent's very vague entry. The widths of the BCMs are larger, and have non-gaussian tails. There are spikes in the digitized BCM signals and BPM wires. When looking at the (current normalized) lumis those spikes also appear, so they seem to be not in the beam. Nothing in the halo counters, but probably because of limited resolution (low V2F count rate).
