Abstract:

Here I gather information on the XP3462 PMT's used in the HMS and SHMS (pre)Shower detectors. The entire HMS calorimeter, and the SHMS pre-shower, use bases fabricated by Nanometrics. (See Fig 11 of the NIM article at https://hallcweb.jlab.org/doc-private/ShowDocument?docid=809 .) The SHMS shower counter blocks use legacy XP3461 pmts which are clearly similar to the XP3462, but no datasheet is available; they also use a different voltage divider which is soldered directly to the pins.
